"Before the season started I didn't know whether I would be staying at Liverpool or coming here," he told the London Evening Standard. "Then I picked up an injury early on which disrupted me a little bit.
"Since I've been back I've just been enjoying playing regularly really, trying to help the team.
"The manager has given me confidence to play which is a big thing for me and it would be nice now if I can score some goals. The manager put a lot of faith in me by bringing me here and I want to do well for him."
