Leeds United have announced the signing of Chelsea midfielder Lewis Baker.

Baker will spend the 2018/19 campaign on loan at Elland Road.

The 23-year-old is the first summer arrival at the Championship club and the first signing under new manager Marcelo Bielsa.

A club statement read: “Leeds United are delighted to announce the signing of Lewis Baker from Premier League side Chelsea.

“The midfielder has joined Leeds on a season-long loan deal and becomes the club's first arrival of the summer transfer window."
