Getafe have snapped up Atletico Madrid midfielder Vitolo.
Getafe will introduce him Monday, per a statement, and Atlético will pay a percentage of the 31-year-old's salary next season, the last one on the five-year contract he signed in 2017.
He played only 292 minutes for the league champions in 2020/21.
Vitolo reportedly wanted to stay within the city limits and pushed to join Getafe — who have a new coach in Míchel and a new project post-Jose Bordalás.
