Manchester United's new signings Nani and Anderson will be working closely with the club's Italian fitness trainer Walter Di Salvo in the first months of their Old Trafford careers.
Di Salvo, who oversaw Cristiano Ronaldo's rapid progression at United, will hand Portugal international Nani and Brazilian ace Anderson similar fitness programmes to build up their frames for the rigours of Premiership football.
Intensive work in the gym and pool, twice weekly, will be combined with regular preseason training for both players. The pair will also be assigned psychologists to help them adjust to life in England and the expectations of playing for a club the size of United.
