Clint Dempsey was pleased to be again on Fulham's scoresheet for victory over Norwich City.
Dempsey took his goal tally this season to 19 in all competitions on Saturday and after the game the American star gave his verdicts on the day's events in SW6.
"It was good to get back to winning ways," Dempsey told fulhamfc.com. "It was an ideal start scoring so quickly and then adding a second after 13 minutes. Being two nil up that early you think you can finish the game off strong but we couldn't find that third goal.
"When you're two-nil ahead and you concede one it's always going to be a bit scary and credit to Norwich, they came out in the second half and fought hard and played some really good football. We weren't able to get going like we did in the first half."
