Rodrigo de Paul admits he feels happier playing for Argentina than Atletico Madrid.
The Argentina midfielder has struggled for regular minutes this season at Atletico.
De Paul told Universo Valdano: "It depends on you. I think I have to take a step forward at Atlético de Madrid. The difference was that when I arrived at the Argentine team there was not such a solid structure, of players or a line of how things were done... I had much more influence in that decision-making.
"And at Atlético de Madrid there is already a fully built base, and you get on that bus.
"This year I feel much more important. In the first and second year you get to know yourself and try to read the message of the club and the locker room. But this year I feel like I have much more influence."
