After a rocky beginning, David De Gea is closing in on his first English title in his very first season with Manchester United.
The 21-year old goalkeeper has emerged as a key player for the Red Devils this term as the reigning champions reeled in Manchester City to take a five-point lead at the top of the table.
With four games remaining, United are favourites to take out the title and De Gea admits it would be a dream start for him.
"It is nice to know supporters are voting me. It is always a positive when the fans are behind you.
"It is something I can sense when I am on the field and makes me feel more relaxed.
"It is a source of extra motivation when you know the fans are right behind you and rooting for you.
"But all that aside, it is just a case of getting your head down, keep working hard and making sure you do have a continuous improvement all the time.""Now we are in front and we have to try and stay there because it would be a dream come true to win the league in my first season," he said.
