DC United loanee Davies to stay with Sochaux

Charlie Davies will remain with French club Sochaux for the second half of the season according to his agent.

The 25-year old forward spent the 2011 MLS season on loan with DC United and it was unsure what his playing future would be but the Washington Post has revealed he will say in France for now.

His agent Lyle Yorks told the paper that Davies will stay put at the Stade August Bonal in Montbeliard to focus on getting first team football prior to the summer before reassessing his career.
