Antonio Conte has set his Chelsea players a minimum target for this season.

Conte has conceded that even if it is not possible to win the Premier League this year, he will be content as long as both he and his team have performed to their best.

He said, "In my mind, you always have to give the maximum in the work: you, the players, the staff. Then it's important, but not the most important thing, if you win or arrive second, third or fourth, fifth.

"It's important to give the maximum of myself. That's the most important thing. I have to go to my house with my conscience clear that I gave my all.

"It's important to give all every day. Only one team wins the title. You must understand always the situation. Then you have to work, work, work, work, to build, to work. Then you'll see at the end of the season. And when I go home, it's important my conscience is very clear."
