Antonio Conte has pleaded to his Juventus board to find him more senior signings.
While the likes of Andrea Pirlo have arrived from AC Milan, Conte fears his squad is desperately short.
He explained: "Every season, I've had five or six outside the first XI. That's how it worked in my previous teams. But this Juve is under construction and needs different players. Here we came on tour with five kids, they're excellent.
"We have to act (in the market), but we know we have to do. To be competitive, we need fighting players. Several players.
"The club knows how many."
Conte added: "The important thing is they get good players, and who are hungry. If you think you're a star who doesn't need to work, I am not interested."
