Fabricio Coloccini is keen to open new contract talks with Newcastle United.
Jonas Gutierrez has signed a new four-year deal with the Magpies, and the Evening Chronicle says Coloccini is ready to sit round the table and discuss a new contract at St James' Park.
The Toon captain has two years left of his existing deal and is understood to be the club's top earner on around £90,000 per week.
