Chievo Verona goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino is chasing an Italy call.
The 31-year-old is confident that he can still aim high while defending the goal of the Flying Donkeys.
"I admit that I had a crazy June and July in relation to the transfer market, but I am happy that I have remained at Chievo," the veteran told Itasportpress.it.
"I have the faith of the club and the Coach and this has given me an extra incentive to do well in these colours.
"Then I also have a dream which is to be called up to the Italian national side.
"With new boss Cesare Prandelli, there are a host of goalkeepers who are candidates for a shirt and I'm thinking about that too."
