Chelsea are ready to make a bid for Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill.
Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed plans to buy an English centre-half as cover for crocked Brazilian Alex.
The Mirror says Chelsea are poised to make a move for Bolton defender Cahill next month.
Bolton, with debts of £39million, could wipe out nearly half of that figure with Cahill valued at £15m.
