Chelsea have expressed interest in Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.
AS says Chelsea goalkeeper coach Christophe Lollichon is driving the move and has already established contact with the 33 year-old's agents. Lollichon has sought information on Guaita's contract and his plans for next season.
The Spaniard is seen by Chelsea as a replacement for Willy Caballero, who will come off contract in June. The form displayed by Guaita also would represent a major threat to Kepa Arrizabalaga's first-choice status.
However, Chelsea aren't alone in their interest with Manchester City and West Ham also in contact.
For their part, Palace are drawing up a new contract offer for Guaita, whose current deal expires in 2021.
