Cardiff poised to sign South Korean international

Championship Cardiff are close to completing a deal for South Korea international Kim Bo-Kyung. "We think we've made good progress on the negotiations and we're hopeful we'll be able to close that within the next few days," chief executive Alan Whiteley told BBC Sport.

"Like all these things you always hesitate to say too much until the ink is on the paper, and obviously there's work permit issues as well, but I think we've made pretty good progress."

The 22 year old wideman is a member of the South Korea Olympic football squad.
