Bryan Oviedo is chasing a new deal with Everton.

The Liverpool Echo says Roberto Martinez is keen to offer the 25-year-old a new deal until the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

“Now we have set the ideal time to negotiate a new contract; these games have helped me a lot to show more interest in me," Oviedo told nacion.com.

“I hope to renew with them and thank them for the opportunity they are giving me and the trust they place in me. I will sign with them if everything we have spoken is in the contract.

"I want a contract that's convenient for both parties."
