Villarreal midfielder Bruno believes they can finish in the European places this season.

After a dismal start to the campaign, Villarreal are the form side of the competition and face Almeria on the back of last week's score draw at Barcelona.

"After this we play Valencia, and that match can define some things, but we have to go into that meeting with victory on Saturday," Bruno told the club's official website.

"We cannot lose to Almeria, our recovery has been based on results at home.

"They are a very difficult opponent, they have lots of pace in their forward line.

"We have to focus and concentrate on our own football."
