Hull City boss Steve Bruce is counting on a fully fit Nikica Jelavic to fire them to safety.

The Croatian striker came on as a substitute against Arsenal on Monday to make his first appearance since March 14.

"We're running out of games," said Bruce.

"We'll see how he trains this week and we'll go from there but he comes into your thoughts because he's such a big player.

"If you need someone to score a goal, he's capable."
