Brighton defender Leo Ostigad is enjoying his loan with Genoa.
While he still has a year on his contract at Brighton, Ostigad admits he'd welcome the chance to stay in Italy.
He told VG: "If I have to choose between Serie A and the Premier League right now, I choose Serie A, it is a league that suits me very well. I may soon stay here longer than this semester.
"I did not quite know what it was like in Italy before I came down here. There's a huge interest. The Italians are a little more crazy than those in England. You can not walk in the city here almost, I am stopped everywhere. It's almost unreal for me.
"But you never know, until the summer I have one year left in Brighton, so then it's probably a question of selling or staying there to play. If I am not told that I will get playing time, then I will probably rather be sold yes. And Italy as a country has convinced me."
