Bournemouth striker Grabban to undergo Sunderland medical

Bournemouth forward Lewis Grabban will undergo a medical with Sunderland on Wednesday.

The 29-year old is expected to join the Black Cats on a season-long loan, according to Sky Sports.

He re-joined the Cherries in 2015 after previously spending two seasons with them before joining Norwich in 2014 for £7m.

Grabban hasn't had the most flattering time at Dean Court, having made just 18 league appearances over the past two seasons.

The Englishman spent last season on loan with Reading, but making 16 appearances in that time.

New Sunderland manager Simon Grayson is set to make Grabban his fifth signing of the summer, having already completed moves for Aidan McGeady and James Vaughan, and loan deals for Everton duo, Tyias Browning and Brendan Galloway.
