Artur Boruc is ready to seek a move away from Southampton.
The Daily Star says the Pole is set to quit Southampton after being replaced by £10m Fraser Forster as the club's first choice goalkeeper.
Saints boss Ronald Koeman said: "Everybody knows the situation with Artur. It is the final year of his contract so this is a choice about the future.
"I have already spoken to Artur and Fraser Forster comes in as first choice goalkeeper.
"Artur has to give real competition and I expect that because that is the professional way.
"It is a difficult situation for him. I understand that but it is football and we need competition in all positions."
