Bristol City are sure to face competition for Argentine defender Matias Lequi.
The Mirror says City have moved for Lequi after he gained a release from Spanish Segunda Liga club Celta Vigo.
However, his availability is sure to alert Premiership clubs, including Blackburn Rovers, where manager Sam Allardyce will be aware of Lequi's quality.
The 27 year-old was on Lazio's books for several years, but played most of his football in Europe on-loan in Spain.
