Birmingham City midfielder Alex Hleb has welcomed interest from Anzhi Makhachkala.
Hleb is on-loan at Birmingham from Barcelona, but has no future at the Spanish giants.
"I want to play in a team where I would have a place in the team," he said. "The Russian Premier League is a very good and competitive championship, I would like to play there.
"While I have not been contacted by anyone from Anzhi Makhachkala, I would welcome an offer."
