Roger Johnson feels on-loan Birmingham keeper Joe Hart will be England's number one by the time of the 2014 World Cup. And the Blues central defender is keeping his fingers crossed Hart will remain on loan from Manchester City at St Andrew's for another 12 months.

"Do I believe Joe Hart should be England's number one? I do especially if you go on stats.

"I'm not a big stats person, but if you go on stats then he probably should be, and especially with our league position.

"I don't know how old Rob Green is but Capello is probably going with a bit more experience and that is how it is.

"Joe will be there (at the World Cup) and he'll gain a lot of experience from this time around.

"But for the next tournament, the next World Cup, he'll probably be number one."
