Fulham left back Paul Konchesky is a £750,000 target for Birmingham City.

The Mirror says Alex McLeish wants the experienced defender to join his improving side - and he has a huge chance as one-time England cap Konchesky is running out of contract at the end of the season.

Konchesky has been a big player for Roy Hodgson since he took charge at Fulham but he could take a final pay day by heading for St Andrews where McLeish wants a proven left back.
