Besiktas president Fikret Orman admits a deal for Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is off.

Besiktas were in advanced talks to sign the Brazilian before his recall for Monday's draw with Arsenal.

Orman stated: “Liverpool do not want him to go.

"The transfer can only go ahead with their say so there is nothing we can do right now."
