Ben Mee is delighted with his decision to move to Brentford.

The former Burnley captain says he moved to Brentford because he felt it was a good match, while he was also excited to work with Thomas Frank.

"I was excited about the opportunity to come here and work with Thomas," said the defender. "I am also someone in the club where I could give the most value and have an impact on the group.

"It felt like a good match.

"I was willing to take some time to get into the team because they had a really good season last year and the two stoppers who played the most had a good season.

"I thought that when I first joined the team, I also believed that I would stay there."
