Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli is playing down their title favourites tag.

Juventus and Udinese currently find themselves at the top of the standings after the Old Lady beat the AC Milan 2-0 on Sunday.

"The win against Milan was important, but I continue to maintain that Milan and Inter, alongside Napoli and Roma, will be protagonists this season," he stated.

"We are also there, but we'll have to fight for it," added the defender who has been recalled to the Italy squad.

"We're doing well, but we are still under construction and it is far too soon to say that we are favourites for the title."
