Barcelona are closing in on a deal for Sevilla midfielder Christian Poulsen.

TV3 says personal terms have already been struck between Barca and the Denmark international's representatives.

Poulsen is contracted to Sevilla until 2009 and his deal carries a £7 million buyout clause. Barca have moved for the midfielder as they prepare to lose Edmilson and Rafael Marquez in the summer.
