Barcelona president Joan Laporta is convinced Ronaldinho will again be at "his best" before the end of the season.

Ronaldinho has been working hard on the training track in the past week and Laporta said: "Soon we will see the best of Ronaldinho.

"He is more motivated than ever before. He is working very hard to return as soon as possible. The reports we have from the coaches and medical people is that he is in great shape."

He added: "I believe that when one suffers an injury, you usually lose form. So, of course you gain weight and you need a period of recovery to get back in shape, which is precisely what he is doing now."
