Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has dismissed calls for his resignation.

Bartomeu is under pressure after a disappointing campaign, but has denied claims he is set to walk away.

"I will not resign," he stated, while also insisting the board, "feel entitled to continue to work as we have".

Bartomeu made the statements to Barca's senate, which meets annually to discuss the direction of the club.
