Everton boss Ronald Koeman has emerged as a target for the Barcelona board.
Barca coach Luis Enrique is under pressure at the Nou Camp with his team trailing LaLiga leaders Real Madrid by six points going into this weekend's El Clasico.
Further adding to the speculation is that Enrique's deal expires at the end of the season and no contract talks are planned for the coming months.
Sportitalia says Koeman is high on Barca's shortlist of candidates to succeed Enrique and contact has already been made to put the Dutchman on notice.
Koeman, who had a disastrous spell at Valencia, is a former Barca captain and spent six years with the Blaugrana.
