Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen proud to reach 250 games

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is proud to have reached 250 games for the club.

Ter Stegen played his 250th game at San Mames for Barcelona's win against Athletic Bilbao.

“It's a spectacular number, I am very happy with the performance I've given Barca until now," said the German stopper.

“I hope there are many more games to come, I really want to keep adding to the tally."

He is already among the top five keepers to play for Barca in terms of appearances.

Ahead of Ter Stegen lie Victor Valdes (535 games), Andoni Zubiarreta (410), Antoni Ramallets (387) and Salvador Sadurni (332).

Ter Stegen said: “I'm in the top five with other legends, I'm proud to be part of this. It's important to think about the present, I renewed my contract recently because I want to stay here."
