Barcelona's interest in Valencia winger Juan Mata this summer is being linked with the potential departure of Thierry Henry. AS says Barca coach Pep Guardiola wanted to sell both Samuel Eto'o AND Henry as he was tired of dealing with the egos of the attacking star pair.
While Eto'o was sold to Inter Milan, Barca couldn't find a buyer for Henry, who Guardiola also wanted to see offloaded after the rivalry between the two upset the Treble winning coach.
Henry still has two years left on his contract, but it's mooted this could be his final season at the Nou Camp.
