Atletico Mineiro midfielder Richarlyson wanted by Blackburn

Atletico Mineiro midfielder Richarlyson is a target for Blackburn Rovers.

The People says manager Steve Kean is being encouraged to sign the 29-year-old ­defensive midfielder, who is ­available on a cheap deal from Atletico Mineiro, by ­influential ­transfer fixer Joao Suazo.

Richarlyson was capped twice by Brazil four seasons ago and played against a Republic of Ireland team that lost 1-0 to a second-half Robinho goal.
