Atletico Madrid sports chief Jesus Garcia Pitarch insists Diego Forlan will not be sold.

AC Milan are the latest major European club to be linked with Spain's Golden Boot, but Pitarch says: "We cannot exclude the possibility of renewing his contract.

"A few months ago we met Daniel Bolotnicoff, the agent of Diego. We know that he is happy here in Madrid and we told him that whenever possible we could renew his contract."
