Arsenal are ready to make a new offer for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

The Telegraph says Arsenal are set to make a renewed bid for Lacazette.

The 25-year-old impressed in Ligue 1 last season, netting 21 goals in 34 appearances.

That form is believed to have caught the eye of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and he is lining up a £35m offer, having seen an initial £29m move rebuffed.

The veteran Frenchman is under pressure to sign a striker with first choice Olivier Giroud out of his side's opening game of the season against Liverpool as he recovers from his Euro 2016 exertions.
