Arsenal and Manchester City target Mesut Ozil is rated a bigger talent than Lionel Messi by his Werder Bremen sports director.
Arsenal see Ozil as a potential replacement for Barcelona target Cesc Fabregas, while City are also being linked with the Germany World Cup star.
Werder chief Klaus Allofs declared last night: "I have not seen anyone in this World Cup who has played better football.
"Ozil is an extraordinary player, who can do something great. A first-class player. The Argentine Lionel Messi thus far has not proven more effective."
