Arsenal are stepping up their pursuit of QPR striker Loic Remy.
The People says Gunners' boss Arsene Wenger sent his chief scout Steve Rowley to Loftus Road to run the rule over the talented 26-year-old Frenchman when Rangers played Stoke City last Saturday.
Remy has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave Loftus Road at the end of the season for £8million - the amount Rangers paid Marseille for him in January.
