Arsenal boss Wenger wanted by France to succeed Blanc

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is in line for the France job.

The Journal du dimanche says France Football Federation president Noel La Graet will call time on Laurent Blanc's reign after Euro2012.

And French chiefs are understood to have identified Wenger as their No 1 choice to take over after the finals in Ukraine and Poland.

Blanc's contract is up after the tournament and the former Manchester United defender has a large and expensive backroom team.
