Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere says their 7-3 win over Newcastle United was no cakewalk.
Wilshere admits the team had to dig deep to win after thrice relinquishing the lead against Alan Pardew's men.
"We are disappointed with the goals we conceded but we showed great character and to score seven goals in the Premier League is great," Wilshere said. "We could have had 12.
"We are on a run now and we have to keep it going. We have an important game coming up on Tuesday.
"It was a strange game. After the first half we would have taken a 2-1 or 3-1 but it opened up and it played into our hands.
"This is an important time in the Premier League. We have won four on the trot. If we can win on Tuesday then we will be in a great position. We can't get carried away but we are in a good position."
