Allam urges Hull fans to be patient with board

Hull City vice-chairman Ehab Allam has urged fans to be patient with the KC board.

Allam admits mistakes will be made in their first season in the Premier League under the current regime.

He told the Hull Daily Mail: "It is our first time as owners going into the Premier League, so no doubt we will make mistakes, but every decision we do make will be one we believe is in the long-term interests of the club.

"I think people have seen that in the decisions we have made in the past.

"We do hold very strong ambitions for the club, and Steve Bruce knows we are supporting him in every way we can, but we are trying to be cautious and sensible with it.

"I am sure, given what happened the last time, that fans would rather us be like that than have a repeat of what happened before."
