Wolves striker Kevin Doyle has revealed that all the players are right behind new manager Terry Connor.
The 49-year old took over from former boss Mick McCarthy during the week to see out the season at the Molineux, kicking of his coaching career with a come-from-behind 2-2 draw at Newcastle United.
Doyle, who scored the equaliser, says that all the players were thrilled they could get a result for Connor and indicated they will give their all as they strive to stay aloft in the Premier League.
"That's because a lot of really nice people work for this club and as players we need to keep this team in the Premier League.
"We've a lot of responsibility on our shoulders and all we've done with this draw is give ourselves a chance.
"The management have done the rounds but it's nice that they have appointed from within.
"That gives all the other staff at Wolves a massive lift, to know that if you do well you get a chance.
"Everybody knows Terry and we are 100 per cent behind him.
"TC has been the manager for the last two weeks anyway and has been taking the training so there hasn't been a big shift in anything.""We all hugged him afterwards because everyone was so happy to get something from the game." Doyle told Birmingham Mail.
