Ajax are being urged to sound out Everton about re-signing Davy Klaassen next month.

The former Ajax captain has struggled to make an impression at Everton since his August arrival.

Klaassen could struggle further now with Sam Allardyce in charge and in Holland it's been floated that Ajax should rescue him from his Premier League nightmare.

AD pundit Sjoerd Mossou told FOX Sports: "Ajax should save Davy Klaassen from his suffering at Everton. He is not a fool.

"But everyone knows this won't happen."
