Ajax chief exec Edwin van der Sar says Manchester United vice-chairman Ed Woodward deserves greater recognition.
Van der Sar insists Woodward is underrated.
He told the Sunday Times, "The laundresses, chef Mike, Kath, the receptionist: they are still there. You have to cherish that. You should also be happy that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is doing great. But also Ed Woodward.
“I have an incredible amount of respect for him and what he does with the club. So I don't have to be the big man there. I always want to feel that I can make a contribution. And you can only do something if you really believe in something. United is a special place, so who knows, maybe I will end up there. But for the coming years I will stay here at Ajax."
