Arsenal and Tottenham are going head-to-head to bring Corinthians striker Alexandre Pato to England in January.Corinthians chief Roberto de Andrade invited both London giants to bid for Pato last week.
"If the two clubs [Arsenal and Tottenham] are interested in Pato we do not exclude to sell him during the winter transfer market," he said.
Italian agent Nicola Giuliani, an expert on the Brazilian transfer market, is convinced Corinthians will sell Pato in January for the right price.
And despite Tottenham's lack of Champions League football, Giuliani says there's little to separate the two North London giants.
"Corinthians will sell Alexandre only if a great economic proposal arrives and in this case the difference between Spurs and Arsenal I think is really small because both clubs have a major sporting project," Giuliani told tribalfootball.com.
Giuliani believes Premier League fans have a great chance of seeing Pato in the near future.
"You can absolutely rule out a return of Pato to Italy. He has already won a lot and worn the shirt of the world's most successful club, AC Milan.
"So I think it's time for new challenges for Alexandre."
