Agent: Bayern Munich need to support Chelsea, Man Utd target Gotze more

Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze's agent Volker Struth has slammed the club for not providing the needed support to the player last season.

23-year old Gotze, who scored the winning goal for Germany in last year's World Cup final, is believed to be a target for a trio of Premier League clubs who are sure to be on alert after these quotes from his representative.

"Of course I would have liked if Mario had felt more support in one or two situations," he told Bild am Sonntag.

"I am fully convinced that when Mario feels this support, it is easier for him to show his incredible potential. Then he is one of the best players in the world.

"Of course he was disappointed and that did bother him. As a player, you are always wondering 'why did I not start?'

"That is why Mario moved to Bayern - to be playing in these big matches and to win titles."

These quotes will have Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea with all three showing interest in the midfielder.

The Bayern youngster is under contract until 2017 but has not been offered a new deal yet.
