Southampton boss Nigel Adkins says the club is proud to see Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain flourishing for Arsenal and England.
Adkins has gone on to guide Saints back to the Premier League while Oxlade-Chamberlain has made himself an Arsenal and England regular following his £12million move.
Adkins said: "Everybody at Southampton should be proud because Alex has come through our system.
"We'd have loved him to have stayed. It took a phenomenal offer for Arsenal to get him.
"It's always a pleasure to watch him play because he has such electrifying pace.
"I want him to do well but on Saturday we will do everything we can to stop him."
