Aberdeen boss Craig Brown hopes they can keep hold of striker Chris Maguire.
Maguire is off contract in June.
"I've impressed upon him that Aberdeen will give him the best offer that they can but it shouldn't solely be about money at his age," said the veteran boss.
"There is a match improvement capability here to get right into the Scotland team, score some goals and then he will be wanted by everyone.
"He doesn't want to make, in my opinion, an intermediate move before the move of his career. I've told him that and I think he's listening.
"I've seen them all over the years and I think the right move is when you're an established international player, scoring goals at the top level and you will be in huge demand.
"That would be my recommendation to Chris."
