PSG sports chief Leonardo is launching a bid for Real Madrid whizkid Takefusa Kubo.
The Japan international joined Real last summer from FC Tokyo and has shone this season on-loan with Real Mallorca.
Leonardo is convinced by the potential of Kubo and is making a concrete move for the teen, reports AS.
However, the response from the midfielder's minders has been 'emphatic', with Kubo insisting he wants to stay in Madrid. His contract carries a €250m buyout clause.
Just yesterday, Real coach Zinedine Zidane said: "The season is good, he plays regularly and that is what we were all looking for. He is a very interesting player, present and future."
